Pretty Pride
This arts program aims to equip disadvantaged women with the tools to become fully fledged artists by providing training and workshops in art techniques and production. It takes far more than skill to prepare a person to enter a market as a professional, and they also work on developing the whole person through training in life skills, providing counseling and partnering with each individual to make her aspirations a reality. Their program also provides a platform for professional artists to invest in a social responsibility initiative by providing training in art skills to the Pretty Pride team.

Paper Body Collective
The Paper Body Collective promotes the development of women’s visual performance and puppetry in Southern Africa. Under the direction of visual performance artist Aja Marneweck, the company creates its theatre of difference through its avant garde edge and ‘total’ theatre approach to puppetry, narrative, imagery, choreography, and representation. Exploring darker issues around gender, they are a vital contribution to developing multi-modal visual performance in South Africa today.
Cosmos Productions has collaborated with the Paper Body Collective over the last 10 years on various visual theatre, and video projects. Some of these include Residue (2005), La Loba (2006), Abajo (2007), In Medea Res (2009) and Plot 99 (2011).
